Getting Started
Create an account from [Sign up](/register) and confirm your email if TopicFolio asks you to verify it.
When you create an account, you must agree to the [Terms of Service](/terms) and acknowledge the [Privacy Notice](/privacy).
To create your first Folio:
- Select New Folio.
- Give the Folio a clear name.
- Add links, notes, files, tags, or sections.
- Use search and filters to find items later.
Using TopicFolio
- Add items from the composer or Folio actions menu.
- Organize content with sections, tags, and visibility controls.
- Share Folios or workspaces with the roles available on your plan.
- Export data from the data export controls when that feature is enabled for your account.
Codex and developer tools
TopicFolio may include Codex or other AI-assisted features for summaries, drafting, classification, or code-oriented workflows. Review generated output before relying on it because AI-assisted responses can be incomplete or incorrect.
If developer access is enabled for your account:
- Generate API keys in Settings > Developer.
- Use the documented authentication scheme and scopes for each integration.
- Respect rate limits and rotate compromised keys immediately.
Account and security
- Change your name, profile information, or linked accounts in Settings.
- Reset your password from [Sign in](/login) if you cannot access your account.
- Enable multi-factor authentication when it is available for stronger account security.
- Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Billing
- TopicFolio Pro, checkout, invoices, and self-serve billing controls are coming soon.
- Use Settings > Billing to see the current rollout status and any plan information already attached to your account.
- If you need help with billing rollout questions or early access, contact support.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support and include your invoice ID, account email, and the date of the charge.
Privacy
- Review the [Privacy Notice](/privacy) to understand what TopicFolio collects and why.
- Use available settings to manage notifications, exports, and account deletion requests.
- Billing information is generally handled by TopicFolio's payment processor rather than stored as full card data inside TopicFolio.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot sign in:
- Confirm your email address and password.
- Try a password reset.
- If you use SSO, confirm your organization still grants access.
If you do not receive a verification or reset email:
- Check spam or junk folders.
- Wait a few minutes and try again.
- Make sure your mail server allows messages from SENDING_DOMAIN.
If you have a billing rollout question:
- Check Settings > Billing for the latest status.
- Contact support and include your account email plus any invoice or reference IDs.
If an integration or API call fails:
- Confirm credentials and scopes.
- Check rate limits and retry with backoff when appropriate.
- Include timestamps and request identifiers when contacting support.
